We are conveniently located between Terra Nova National Park and Gross Morne National Park just 20 km west of Grand Falls-Windsor. For those of you from the East Coast, we are 420 km from St. John;s. Why drive another 2.5 hours to get to the west coast when you can stay in the best quality rental chalets in Newfoundland with excellent snowmobiling? From Corner Brook you can take the Trans Canada trail to the Gaff Topsails, head East and get here by snowmobile almost as fast as you can drive here by vehicle! Our four chalets feature jacuzzi tubs, corner showers, leather furniture, fully serviced kitchens and two bedrooms, as well pull-out leather queen size couch. Enjoy a wall-mounted flat-screen television with satellite service and a DVD player for relaxing during poor weather days. We also have wireless internet. Outside you will find your own private deck and BBQ as well as an outdoor 6 person saltwater, self cleaning hot-tub situated on the banks of the Exploits River. Kick back in the evening by the riverside campfire and gaze at the moon and stars. *Chalet #4's lower level is fully wheelchair accessible.

Occupancy:

Included in the published rate is 4 adults. (Maximum occupancy - 6 guests). Of the extra guests 2 may be an adult.

Cancellations:

Reservations are fully refundable if canceled 30 days or more in advance of your arrival. For reservations canceled between 2 and 29 days in advance of your arrival, Riverfront Chalets will retain a 25% deposit, but refund the remaining payment. Reservations canceled within 48hrs of your arrival are non-refundable.

Administration policy on refunds: This site's administration policy on refunds: 10% of the total paid+ $3.00 booking fee is non-refundable. Refunds on remaining balance to be negotiated directly w/property owner subject to their policy.

Unless otherwise noted, our prices are based on a four person occupancy. There is an additional fee for extra guests over 5yrs old.

Car Parking:

We have ample parking available on the property, and we can usually accommodate over-sized vehicles and vehicles with trailers providing you alert us in advance.

Things to do:

From Late-May to October we run daily whitewater rafting tours on the mighty Exploits River. Our tours are suitable for ages 5 and up and are designed with the perfect balance for both first-timers and experienced rafters providing a great way to enjoy the thrill of whitewater without being an expert paddler. We also offer canoe and kayak rentals/guided tours and instructional courses. Central Newfoundland is truly a winter wonderland and we are fortunate to have some of the province's best snowmobiling right in our backyard! Through the winter we offer full day guided snowmobile tours that take riders up the summit of Hodges Hill or through the famous Gaff Topsails. Our tours are suitable for all skill levels and we provide snowmobile rentals. If you prefer to enjoy the beauty of winter at a more subdued pace we also offer snowshoe rentals and tours. There are several suitable firepits on site and firewood is free of charge! There is also a playground and trampoline onsite to help entertain our younger guests through the summer months.

Getting There:

If you are traveling from the East, we are located 20km west of Grand Falls-Windsor on the Trans Canada Highway (Rte 1). Our driveway is marked by a big blue sign on the left side of the road immediately after the Aspen Brook bridge. If you are traveling from the West, we are located 10km east of Badger on the Trans Canada Highway (Rte 1). Our driveway is marked by a big blue sign on the right side of the road just before the Aspen Brook bridge. We are located on the TransCanada Trail, and easily accessible by snowmobile or ATV.
